Transmission # 16 ”Not So Special Effects”

The early 80s is often referred to by movie geeks as the golden age of practical special effects. Great examples would be  American Werewolf In London, John Carpenter’s The Thing, and The Fly. They can’t all be winners however. In this episode Derrick & Tim have a little fun talking about some of the films where practical special f/x fell quite a bit short.
